What a week here at The Main Street Mouse! Christmas officially arrived at Walt Disney World, Marvel took over New York Comic Con, and Disney World ticket prices hit a new record. If you missed anything, here’s your catch up on the biggest stories from the past seven days.

New Christmas Merchandise Arrives at World of Disney in Disney Springs

Holiday shopping season is officially here! New Christmas merchandise arrived at World of Disney, and the Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up is now open at Disney Springs. We also got a first look at the 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party merchandise.

Over at Disney Jollywood Nights, Gertie is getting her own Loungefly, and the event is adding a holiday lounge and rare Monsters, Inc. characters. Outside the parks, Disney and Macy’s launched a holiday collection celebrating 100 years of the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Bluey is getting a new Christmas balloon for the parade, and Cakeworthy dropped its Disney holiday collection with Santa Mickey, Jack and Sally, and Muppet Christmas Carol styles.

And on a budget? Mickey Mouse souvenir plates arrived at Walt Disney World, and they’re only $3.

Marvel Takes Over New York Comic Con

Before the con kicked off, we shared the biggest panels and reveals to watch at NYCC 2026. Marvel delivered, and you can catch up on everything Marvel announced at NYCC 2026, including a Defenders reunion on stage for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.

Marvel revealed Zodiac, a new spy thriller series coming to Disney+ in 2028, three new Marvel Zombies Halloween specials, and a release date for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2. The biggest surprise? Marvel screened VisionQuest’s first episode for fans ahead of its October 14 premiere.

The Avengers: Doomsday excitement kept building too. Avengers: Endgame is once again the highest grossing movie of all time, the Avengers: Doomsday popcorn bucket was revealed, and it’s Doctor Doom himself, and LEGO revealed a Marvel Skyline set with Avengers Tower and the X-Mansion. Beyond Marvel, the Jim Henson Company brought Labyrinth 40th anniversary and Fraggle Rock merch to NYCC.

Disney World 2027 Ticket Prices Peak Prices Hit a Record 9

Planning a trip next year? Disney World’s 2027 ticket prices are out, and peak prices hit a record $229. Animal Kingdom fans got big news as well, with Joe Rohde saying Disney will replace the Expedition Everest Yeti, not fix it.

For foodies, we got a first look at Monstropolis dining at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Eyeball Fishcake, anyone?), the Diamond Horseshoe Lounge is now open at Magic Kingdom, and the Rose & Crown Dining Room at EPCOT is closing for refurbishment in February 2027.

Classic Disney fans will love that a familiar voice has returned to Carousel of Progress, and Stolen Kingdom, the documentary about Walt Disney World’s missing animatronic, is heading to MIPCOM.
