Gather your adventuring party, because Piglet needs your help. Illumineer’s Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue, the new cooperative game from the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game by Ravensburger, is now available at Amazon, hobby stores and mass market retailers.
The game first appeared in limited quantities at Gen Con earlier this year, so this is the first chance for many fans to get their hands on it.
The Story: Piglet Has Been Kidnapped
A glimmer of Piglet has been captured by some prickly tendrils, and it’s up to you to save him. Players take on the role of Illumineers, venturing deep into the roots of the Vine that’s been plaguing the realm of Lorcana to uncover what’s behind the thorny problem and stop it for good.
But the Vine won’t make it easy. It fights back with its own self playing deck, working to prune back anyone who tries to get too close.
Play Solo or With a Friend
Unlike traditional Lorcana matches where players face off against each other, The Great Hunny Rescue is fully cooperative. You can take on the Vine on your own or team up with a friend.
Players can use their own Lorcana decks or grab one of the two prebuilt decks included in the box, which makes it a great option for newcomers who don’t have a collection yet, as well as seasoned players looking for a new challenge.
What’s in the Box
- 1 Vine scenario deck (50 cards) with storage box
- 10 Vine Tendril cards
- 2 player decks (60 cards each) with storage boxes
- 6 Encounter cards
- 2 prize packs (2 cards each)
- 30 tokens
- 1 game board
- 1 rule book for The Great Hunny Rescue
Perfect Timing for Pooh Fans
With Winnie the Pooh celebrating his 100th anniversary this month, a Hundred Acre Wood adventure starring Piglet couldn’t come at a better time. It also makes a great holiday gift for the Lorcana player, board game fan or Pooh lover in your life.
