Disney Lorcana is Getting a Digital Game and Thats Just the Start of the D23 Announcements

Disney Lorcana fans got a whole lot to be excited about during the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event panel this week, and the biggest surprise came right at the end. Ravensburger confirmed that a digital version of Disney Lorcana TCG is officially in development for both desktop and mobile. There’s no release date yet, but fans can head to DisneyLorcana.com/digital to sign up and be among the first to know when public testing kicks off.

That wasn’t the only news to come out of the panel though. Ravensburger gave fans their first look at the upcoming set Cosmic Quest, arriving in Spring 2027, and confirmed that Disney Lorcana will be showing up in even more Disney spaces going forward, including EPCOT International Festival of the Arts in 2027 and expanded Collection Quests across the entire Disney Cruise Line fleet. For a game that just wrapped three years on the market with 13 sets, over 3,000 unique cards, and 2.8 billion cards sold worldwide, the momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

Collectors have plenty to look forward to as well. Ravensburger revealed a brand new premium rarity called Illustrious, with only 23 serialized copies of each card printed per set, debuting through new collector boosters when Into the Inkdark releases in Q1 2027. The panel also teased a Beauty and the Beast themed Curator’s Collection dropping this October to celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary, plus a first look at an official visual guide book and a new in-world lorebook that debuted exclusively at D23.
