Disney Lorcana fans, set your alarms! Disney Springs is using a virtual queue for the release of the newest Disney Lorcana set, Hyperia City, at World of Disney on Friday, October 16, 2026. Here’s everything you need to know to get your chance at the new cards.
How to Join the Virtual Queue
- The virtual queue opens at 6 a.m. on October 16 in the My Disney Experience app.
- You must be within about 45 miles of Disney Springs to join.
- Once your boarding group is called, you’ll have 60 minutes to return to World of Disney. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
Don’t Arrive Early
This one is important. Any vehicles or guests arriving at Disney Springs before 9 a.m. will be asked to leave and come back at 9 a.m. Because this release uses a virtual queue, there’s no need to line up early. You can join from your hotel, your home, or your kitchen table, as long as you’re within the 45 mile range.
The Disney Springs parking garages will open at their normal time of 9 a.m.
Purchase Limits and Rules
- Capacity is limited. Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee you’ll be able to buy the featured Disney Lorcana merchandise.
- One Guest per boarding pass. Boarding passes can’t be linked or shared, so everyone in your party who wants to shop needs to join on their own.
- Limit of 2 units of the featured items per Guest, while supplies last.
Why the Big Release?
Hyperia City is one of the most anticipated Disney Lorcana sets yet. It brings Disney and Pixar’s Coco to the game for the first time, with Miguel, Héctor, and Pepita joining the lineup in a magical new city inspired by Walt Disney’s original Hyperion Studio. It also introduces a brand new game mechanic called ink drops.
October 16 is also the start of Prerelease weekend at participating local game stores, and the set arrives everywhere on October 23, 2026.
