If you are a Disney+ or Hulu subscriber, you are going to want to check your next billing statement — because prices just went up again.
Starting September 23, 2026, both Disney+ and Hulu have raised their subscription prices. New subscribers see the new rates immediately, while existing subscribers will see the change reflected on their next monthly billing cycle.
This marks the fourth price hike in four years for the streaming services.
Here Is What Everything Costs Now
For the ad free plans, the increases are the most noticeable. Disney+ Premium jumped from $18.99 to $21.49 per month, a $2.50 increase — or about 13%. Hulu Premium went up by the same amount, also moving from $18.99 to $21.49 per month.
If you subscribe to the Disney+/Hulu bundle without ads, that plan went from $19.99 to $21.99 per month, a $2 increase. Interestingly, that makes the bundle only 50 cents more expensive than buying either service on its own without ads — so if you were thinking about subscribing to both anyway, the bundle is still very much worth it.
On the ad supported side, the increases are much smaller. Disney+ with ads went from $11.99 to $12.49 per month, and Hulu with ads also moved from $11.99 to $12.49 per month. The ad supported Disney+/Hulu bundle actually saw no change at all and remains at $12.99 per month, making it a standout value compared to everything else on the list.
Quick Price Breakdown:
Disney+ Premium (no ads): $18.99 → $21.49/month
Hulu Premium (no ads): $18.99 → $21.49/month
Disney+/Hulu Bundle (no ads): $19.99 → $21.99/month
Disney+ with Ads: $11.99 → $12.49/month
Hulu with Ads: $11.99 → $12.49/month
Disney+/Hulu Bundle with Ads: $12.99 → no change
Some Context Worth Knowing
Disney is not alone in raising prices — ESPN also saw price hikes earlier this month, with ESPN Select rising to $13.99 per month and ESPN Unlimited climbing to $31.99 per month. Apple TV+ and Peacock have also raised prices recently, so this is an industrywide trend.
On the brighter side, Disney has announced that a unified Disney+/Hulu standalone app is in the works and expected to launch by the end of the year, which should make managing both subscriptions a lot more seamless.
As always, if you are looking to keep costs down, the ad supported plans remain the most affordable way to stay connected to all the Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar content you love. And with Toy Story 5 just hitting Disney+ this week, there has never been more reason to stay subscribed!
