The Brew-Wing Lab marketplace inside the Odyssey Pavilion during Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival is one of our favorites. The festival is celebrating 30 years, and began today. Of course we went to the Odyssey right when it opened to get some of the goodies that they offer during the festival!
The food lineup features a variety of specialty chicken wings for $7.79 each, with flavors including Garlic-Parmesan, Buffalo-Dill Pickle, Korean Barbecue and the fiery Carolina Reaper (Unnecessarily Spicy Yet Extremely Tasty Carolina Reaper Pepper-Curry with creamy cucumber raita). Looking for a plant-based option? The Sweet Chile-Lime Plant-based Chicken Strips are also $7.79, while Fried Pickle Spears are available as a $5.79 side.
We tried the wings: Buffalo Dill Pickle, Carolina Reaper. Also the plant based chicken strips and pickle spears. It was all very good, but truthfully, the Carolina Reaper wings were pretty hard to eat. We had people at our table who love spicy hot foods and it was even too much for them. Whew!
For those skipping the alcohol, options include the Pickle Milk Shake and Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea. The drink menu also features a selection of beers and hard ciders, including Peanut Butter Blondie Blonde Ale, Pumpkin Cheesecake Blonde Stout and Cherry Jubilee Hard Cider, plus beer and hard cider flights for those who want to sample a few. The frozen pomegranate and raspberry tea is my favorite! Paired with the plant based chicken… so good!
The safest bet are the pickle spears, a returning favorite!
