Disney has shared the first look at the guest rooms coming to Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, the stunning new waterfront resort set to open July 1, 2027, along the shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World Resort. The 967-room resort will feature accommodations inspired by beloved Disney animated films, blending natural materials, earthy color palettes, and classic Disney storytelling into every space.
The most unique accommodation at the resort will be the freestanding Lake Houses, one- and two-bedroom A-frame retreats perched right on the edge of Bay Lake with floor-to-ceiling windows and private porches overlooking the water. Themed to “Brother Bear,” each Lake House will sleep five or eight guests and include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a Northern Lights-inspired lighting feature in the primary bedroom. For couples and solo travelers, Duo Studios draw inspiration from “Encanto” with colorful decor, a spa-like split bathroom, and a queen-size pull-down bed. Deluxe Studios and one- and two-bedroom villas are rooted in the world of “Bambi,” with warm forest tones and original concept artwork from the Disney archives, while three-bedroom Grand Villas celebrate the artistic magic of “Fantasia” and sleep up to 12 guests. Resort rooms throughout the property take inspiration from “Pocahontas,” featuring carved wood paneling and scenic murals. Select guests will also have access to The Artist’s Nest, an elevated concierge lounge above the treetops with sweeping views of the resort and complimentary refreshments.
Beyond the rooms, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will offer the full Disney Resorts Collection experience including early park entry, complimentary transportation, and direct water transportation to Magic Kingdom Park. Dining options will include Moonglade, a waterfront table-service restaurant with views of Bay Lake, the all-day Bay Lake Provisions marketplace, and the poolside Paint Out Point Bar and Grill. The outdoor recreation area, The Wetlands, will feature a zero-entry pool, spiral water slide, lazy river, and a water play area inspired by “Pocahontas.”
Reservations open in phases starting October 6, 2026. Disney Vacation Club Members get first access by calling (800) 800-9800 beginning October 6. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can book starting October 7 at (407) 934-7639, and reservations open to all guests on October 8 online, by phone, or through a travel agent.
