One complaint I hear a lot is about the construction going on at Downtown Disney right now. It’s crowded, there are construction walls here and there, and it’s not always the most pleasant experience. One solution for that…… is hitting Downtown Disney earlier in the day. The stores don’t open till 10:00 a.m., but some of the restaurants open earlier. You can walk up to Starbucks and get a coffee and pastry, or go into Earl of Sandwich and get a breakfast sandwich or omelette. It’s really peaceful and so much less crowded in the morning.
Going to DTD at night is fun, but with the construction and such, it’s gets really packed. The night entertainment they have now is great though, so there’s that, but if you’re looking to mostly shop, morning works! Save yourself some time and hassle and hit Downtown Disney early, look around, have breakfast and relax! You’ll be glad you did! (p.s. Did I mention that there are no crowds??)
