Commonly Misheard Disney Lyrics You Might Be Getting Wrong

From the Oh My Disney blog

Did you know that a commonly misheard phrase is called a mondegreen? Now you do! While you may have never heard that term, you’ve likely heard (or misheard, rather) lyrics to a song that may have been a little different than what the song really says. Taylor Swift’s “Starbucks lovers,” anyone? Here are a few Disney lyrics that we’re constantly hearing people get wrong. (We might be guilty of getting a few of these wrong too.) See if there are any that surprise you:

  1. My niece thought the beginning of “I’ve Got a Dream” on Tangled said, “I’m malicious, mean and scary, my snicker turtle dairy,” instead of, “My sneer could curdle dairy.” I would laugh so hard every time she sang that song! ☺️
