If you’re a fan of both WWE and Disney, this rumor is going to have you buzzing, but it’s important to note upfront that nothing has been officially announced by either company. What we do have is a backstage report from WrestleVotes on Fightful Select that suggests some pretty exciting conversations may already be underway.

WWE and Disney Have Reportedly Been Talking
According to the report, WWE and Disney have been in discussions for quite some time, even before WWE’s current broadcast deal with ESPN. TKO President Mark Shapiro has spoken publicly about the idea behind a potential partnership, saying the goal would be to attract a family audience, which would in turn bring in more advertisers and boost revenue.
So what could this partnership actually look like? Here are the possibilities being floated:
What Could Be in the Works
WWE Stars on Disney+ — The report claims that WWE talent could be featured in Disney+ shows as soon as next year. No specific shows or wrestlers have been confirmed.
WWE Events at Disney’s Florida Venues — There have apparently been discussions about WWE themed events taking place at Disney’s Florida locations. Again, nothing official has been confirmed.

WWE at ESPN Wide World of Sports – ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World can hold close to 10,000 people, and the report mentions WWE could hold events and fan experience shows there. WDW fans will know this venue has hosted everything from cheerleading competitions to NBA bubble games, so it would be a natural fit.
WWE Experiences on Disney Cruise Line — Perhaps the most exciting (and surprising) possibility mentioned is a WWE themed experience aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. This is described as speculation from a WWE source, so take it with an extra grain of salt.

The Business Side
TKO, the parent company of WWE, has been on an aggressive growth path in 2026. Q2 profits and revenue came in higher than Q1, and deals like this appear to be a core part of their strategy to keep that momentum going. Bringing the WWE audience into the Disney ecosystem — and vice versa, could be a major win for both sides.
Nothing Is Official Yet
We want to be clear: Disney has not confirmed any of this, and WWE has not made any official announcements. This is all based on insider reporting and speculation at this stage. We’ll absolutely be watching for any official word and will keep you posted the moment anything is confirmed.
