Disney+ subscribers who love college football have something exciting to look forward to this fall. ESPN is expanding its sports content on Disney+ with the addition of College Football Saturdays, bringing live games and one of the most iconic pregame shows in sports directly to the streaming platform.
Starting August 29, Disney+ will simulcast two ESPN and ABC college football games every Saturday throughout the season. The first game on the schedule is North Carolina vs. TCU in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, and additional matchups are already lined up for September 5, 12, and 19, with remaining games selected on a rolling six and 12-day basis. That means college football fans will have a reliable home for the sport on Disney+ all season long without needing to flip between platforms.
Alongside the live games, College GameDay is also coming to Disney+. The Emmy Award-winning pregame show airs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon ET, and it kicks off the season on September 5 from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which also happens to be the show’s historic 500th road episode. This is a massive milestone for one of the most beloved pregame shows in sports, and Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch it live right alongside the games.
