Disneyland News This Week: Mickey’s Mix Magic Fireworks, Christmas Day Dining Reservations and 2026 Candy Cane Dates

November 2, 2026

Halloween Time is over at Disneyland Resort, and the parks are in that short window between seasons before Holidays at the Disneyland Resort begins on November 13. If you’re planning a visit in the next few weeks, or already looking ahead to Christmas, here’s the Disneyland news you need to know this week.

Mickeys Mix Magic Projections and Fireworks at Disneyland Park in November 2026

Mickey’s Mix Magic Returns, With Fireworks November 6 to 8

With Halloween Screams finished for the season, Mickey’s Mix Magic is back at Disneyland Park from November 1 through November 12 to fill the gap before “Believe…in Holiday Magic” returns on November 13. The high energy show turns Main Street, U.S.A. into a dance party with DJ Mickey, projections and lasers, and you can also watch from in front of “it’s a small world” and near Tom Sawyer Island.

On November 6, 7 and 8, the show adds fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle. On those nights, Star Wars fans can also catch a special version of Fire of the Rising Moons in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which pairs the fireworks with a Star Wars soundtrack. Projections run on the other nights, so check the Disneyland app for the schedule on the day of your visit.

There are no parades during this short break between seasons. A Christmas Fantasy Parade returns November 13.

Christmas Day Dining Reservations Open November 12

If you’re hoping to spend Christmas Day at Disneyland, mark your calendar. While dining reservations for Christmas Eve, December 26 and New Year’s Eve have already opened, Christmas Day dining reservations open Thursday, November 12, at 6am Pacific.

Holiday character dining options at the Disneyland Resort hotels include:

  • Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Cafe in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
  • Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast at Storytellers Cafe
  • Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays! at the Disneyland Hotel

Table service options in the parks on Christmas Day include Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans, Carnation Cafe and River Belle Terrace at Disneyland Park, plus Carthay Circle Restaurant, Lamplight Lounge and Wine Country Trattoria at Disney California Adventure. One note for parade fans: the A Christmas Fantasy Parade dining package at Plaza Inn won’t be offered on December 24 or 25, but it’s available December 26 through 30.

Official 2026 Disneyland Candy Cane Dates

Bountiful Valley Brews Kiosk Coming to Disney California Adventure

A familiar name is coming back to Disney California Adventure. Bountiful Valley Brews is a new kiosk scheduled to open this month in a small spot off the performance corridor between Carthay Circle and Avengers Campus. The menu focuses on beer and cocktails, with one seasonal nonalcoholic drink, and the lone snack is a pepperoni pizza egg roll with pesto dipping sauce.

Quick Hits for Magic Key Holders

  • A new Haunted Mansion Holiday 25th anniversary collectible card is available to Magic Key holders each Monday through November 16, while supplies last, at the Disneyana Shop in Disneyland, Kingswell Camera in Disney California Adventure and WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney.
  • The Super Bowl LXI Champions Cavalcade comes to Main Street, U.S.A. on Monday, February 15, 2027, and Magic Key holders can make park reservations for that date starting November 16.

  • “it’s a small world” is closed for its holiday overlay and is expected to return later in November.
