Six Ravens is getting into the spooky spirit. The medieval inspired hand pie shop at Disney Springs has announced its very first Limited Edition Coffyn, and it is arriving just in time for Halloween weekend.
In a post shared to its official Instagram account, Six Ravens called on its “travelers” to gather round for a special Coffyn celebrating “the great affair known throughout the land as Halloween.” The shop also reminded fans that its Coffyns are scratch made and never fried.
When Can You Get the Halloween Coffyn?
The Limited Edition Coffyn will be available this Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, while supplies last. It is only available at Six Ravens, so you will not find it anywhere else at Walt Disney World or around Orlando.
With just two days on the calendar and a “while supplies last” warning, we recommend heading over early. Six Ravens used a virtual queue during its opening, much like its sister shop next door, so be prepared to leave your phone number with a Cast Member and shop around Disney Springs until you get your text.
What Is a Coffyn?
If you have not visited Six Ravens yet, a Coffyn takes its name from an old medieval term for a hand pie. Each one is a house made yeast roll with a savory filling baked inside, served with its own dipping sauce. Many of the regular menu Coffyns were developed in collaboration with local Orlando chefs and restaurants, giving the shop a true Central Florida flavor.
The regular lineup includes options like a classic cheeseburger Coffyn, a mac and cheese with BBQ pulled pork Coffyn, and a breakfast Coffyn with bacon, egg, and cheese. This Halloween release marks the first time Six Ravens has rolled out a limited edition offering since opening in August.
From the Team Behind Gideon’s Bakehouse
Six Ravens comes from Steve Lewis, the creator of Gideon’s Bakehouse, the wildly popular cookie shop that has drawn long lines at Disney Springs since 2020. Gideon’s is famous for its limited edition treats, so it is no surprise that Six Ravens is following the same playbook. If this first special Coffyn is a hit, we would not be surprised to see seasonal releases become a regular tradition.
The shop takes its name from the legend of the ravens at the Tower of London, which says the kingdom will stand as long as at least six ravens remain in residence. That gothic, storybook theme carries through the entire shop, from the carved wooden marquee to the raven crest on the door handles.
Where to Find Six Ravens
Six Ravens is located in The Landing at Disney Springs, just a few doors down from Gideon’s Bakehouse and across from Paradiso 37, in the former Art of Shaving space. There is no seating inside, so plan to take your Coffyn to go and find a spot along the waterfront to enjoy it.
