Pixar celebrated the announcement on social media with a nod to the film’s heart: “20 years ago today, a stop in Radiator Springs showed us that the journey matters as much as the finish line.” Disney is also supporting the re-release with new Cars merchandise on DisneyStore.com, and fans visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort can get their hands on a limited edition Lightning McQueen popcorn bucket to go along with the celebration.
