Spider-Man: Brand New Day is not slowing down. The Marvel blockbuster pulled in an estimated $36.5 million in its fourth weekend, holding off the new horror entry Insidious: Out of the Further, which debuted to $23.7 million in second place. That fourth consecutive weekend at the top of the domestic chart is now a 2026 record, surpassing the three-week run previously shared with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
The cumulative domestic total now sits at $852.4 million as of Saturday morning, which makes Brand New Day the highest-grossing Spider-Man film of all time domestically. It has also climbed to third on the all-time domestic chart, sitting behind only Avengers: Endgame and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Globally, the film ranks fourth in history, trailing Avatar: The Way of Water, Endgame, and Avatar.
The next major test comes August 28, when Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars opens with projections in the $20 to $30 million range. That may not be enough to end the streak, which means Spider-Man could be looking at a fifth weekend at number one before all is said and done.
