Well hello there…. It’s Wednesday night, and time for our weekly chat! There is a lot to talk about, so lets get to it!!
Last week I was in the midst of dealing with sick family members, and I’m happy to say they’re all feeling better. Thank God. The flu has been running rampant down here in Florida, the shelves are bare in the medicine aisles at the stores, it’s crazy. I know you fellow mom’s out there can relate to the worry, of checking your child’s forehead constantly, giving them medicine and doting on them to make them better. I’m just glad they’re ok now. Saturday we had a media event on the Disney Fantasy at Port Canaveral, and I wasn’t sure if we’d all be able to go. Luckily, we did, and had a great time. We were on the Disney Dream two weeks prior, and this trip to the Fantasy was just to see the new Star Wars Day at Sea offerings, we didn’t actually leave on the ship. While at the event, we got to do character meet and greets, learn more about what Disney Cruise Line does for these special sailings, and had some Star Wars themed food. I seriously love my job, and don’t take anything for granted. Disney has been so good to us, and being able to share extra content with our readers is wonderful. Disney knows what they’re doing too, with this cruise info. They said we’d be hooked and want to do another cruise, and they were right. While we were getting ready to leave the ship, we saw travelers coming aboard, getting their family name announced as they came inside…. Looking at these lucky cruise goers, I couldn’t help but think about all the fun they’re going to have in the coming week, and how I wish I was going too. So yes, now I have yet another Disney obsession to contend with. Like I needed another one, right? But yes, cruising is great, I highly recommend it!
The rest of the weekend, we stayed home, as I started to not feel well too. We watched the Super Bowl of course, but that’s about it. This coming weekend there’s a media day at Animal Kingdom on Saturday, so I’m looking forward to that. My birthday is next week and I’m sure Disney will be involved in the planning somewhere, so I’m excited for that too. Speaking of things to look forward to…. tonight I announced this years big meet up date! Meet up weekend is December 7th and 8th. I don’t know any details yet, we’ll work on that, but at least people can save the date and start planning. TMSM’s meet up weekend is one of my favorite parts of this job, I love it. As soon as I come up with more details I’ll be sure to post them! Also, TMSM will have a booth at MegaCon in Orlando on Memorial Day weekend, more to come about that as well. Always busy, always working on something! That’s it for this weeks update! Thanks as always for reading and keeping up with us! Until next time, sending you love, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon! ~M
