This weekend, DTD St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Top O’ the Morning to you! As you know, St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, and Disney of course always joins in the celebration. The Downtown Disney District at both Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort, will be running festivities all day today and tomorrow!

For Disneyland ~ From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, Downtown Disney District will offer special entertainment for St. Patrick’s Day celebrants on the West Side Main Stage and near House of Blues. Many of the Downtown Disney District food locations will have special St. Patrick’s Day offerings on Sunday or throughout the weekend.

For Disney World ~ March 16 and 17 from noon until 1 a.m., Raglan Road is party central, and the surrounding areas near Pleasure Island.
The Raglan Road Dancers, seven full-time champion dancers, performing daily
Distinguished Dublin-born multi-instrumentalist Declan Masterson, recent touring musical director of Riverdance, leading Irish Music Workshops
Ceili (kay-lee) traditional music and structured set-dancing event on Saturday, inviting guest participation
“The Electric Ceili,” Sunday evening, bringing together a host of Irish musicians and dancers
Performances by The Willis Clan, Nova Celtic, Girsa, Celtic Wave, Wyndbreakers, Three Dollar Band, Raglan Road house band Creel, Johnny & Justin, and Albannach, with a new approach to percussion and Celtic music
World-famous U2 tribute band Elevation, playing Saturday and Sunday
More than 50 musicians and dancers performing, plus face painting, stilt walkers and giveaways.
