Mickey’s Halloween Party will be returning to Disneyland for 17 nights this year! Starting September 9 and running on select nights through October 31, Mickey’s Halloween Party is a special ticket event that offers guests the chance to see the “Halloween Screams” fireworks, trick-or-treat in the park, and more. This year Disneyland will have the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow ride through the park too! Also returning this year is the Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and Haunted Mansion Holiday layovers. This year’s Mickey’s Halloween Party dates, times and prices are as follows:
Tickets go on sale July 21 to Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders, Disney Rewards Visa card holders and Disney Vacation Club members, and to the general public on July 28. Party tickets are valid for admission to Mickey’s Halloween Party and to Disneyland Park beginning 3 hours prior to the start of the party.
There is also a change to parking this year, Disneyland has made sure to very clearly note on their website and event release the following information “Please note: parking is not included with admission” so please plan accordingly!

Costume Guidelines
Before you brew up ideas for your next disguise—review our latest list of tips.While we encourage creativity, we also value safety and good judgement. Please take a moment to read over our latest rules and regulations:
- Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
- Guests who dress like characters may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
- Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
- Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
- Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
- Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g. full-length Princess dresses).
For Guests Ages 13 and Under
Costumes and some masks may be worn, as long the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.
For Guests Ages 14 and Older
- Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
- Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are acceptable.
- Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
- Masks of any kind may not be worn.
Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards.
Important Information From Disney Regarding Mickey’s Halloween Party:
- Parking is not included in the ticket price and parking fees will apply.
- Mickey’s Halloween Party tickets are subject to availability and are valid only for specific event dates and hours.
- Space is limited and event dates may sell out. Limit eight (8) tickets per person, per event date.
- Tickets are nonrefundable and may not be resold. Tickets are not required for Guests ages 2 and under.
- Costumes subject to Disney guidelines and should not be obstructive or offensive.
- Subject to restrictions and change without notice. Entertainment may be cancelled due to inclement weather or otherwise.
- There Is No Smoking at Mickey’s Halloween Party: This is a completely non-smoking event, and there will be no designated smoking areas within the park. Exit and reentry is permitted to designated smoking areas in the Esplanade outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance.
