Happy Wednesday Main Streeters! Wow, things have been crazy busy here! The month is already wrapping up, and the 4th of July is next week! Can you believe how fast the Summer is flying by? I sure can’t, it needs to slow down!

This past week has been a hectic one. We are coming up on our 1 year anniversary of our magazine, and are putting the finishing touches on the next issue. I seriously can’t believe it’s been a year. I remember that first issue, and how scared we were to launch something new. That’s the fear when you have your own business. Things are always hit or miss, feast or famine if you will…. We’re never sure what people will respond to, but we keep trying. That being said, we had to go out and about to get more photos for the magazine, so we went to the Magic Kingdom last weekend. The crowds were pretty low actually, which surprised me. Summertime is usually so crowded, but the lines were short that evening, so that was nice. We had to renew our Annual Passes last week, so we got the new upgrade which included Memory Maker. The past two years we have just taken selfies or pics with only some of us in them, so it’s nice to get family pictures now. Nice touch Disney! We hadn’t been on Splash Mountain since last year, so that was a special request by the boys. They sat in the front row and got soaked, so they were happy as can be!

This past week, I’ve been to three of the four parks, getting content for the site and magazine. In our ventures out, I’ve gotten to meet some of our readers, which I absolutely love. There are days when I wonder if we do a good enough job, or if the hours we put into TMSM make a difference. When I have people come up to us at the parks, it totally reaffirms my belief in this site, and truly, it does my heart good. One family came up to us at the Launch Bay at the Studios, and we ended up watching the new Star Wars show with them too. How awesome is that? Again, thank you all so much for supporting us, and for letting us know you care. Speaking of the new Star Wars show… they added huge pyrotechnics to the “bad guy” scenes as I call them. Wow, just wow! The fire streams are HUGE, and you can feel the heat coming off of them, it’s over the top good! The new nightly display is like nothing I’ve ever seen before, so the next time you come to Disney, put it on your must do list! Even if you’re not a huge Star Wars fan, it’s incredible to see!

So here we are, wrapping up June already. Where has the month gone? The 4th of July is next week, and we’ll be celebrating with family and friends. I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday as well. Thank you, all of you, for the support on the magazine this past year, and for backing us in all we do in general. If it wasn’t for our readers, TMSM wouldn’t exist, and I appreciate our Main Streeters so much. Until next week… sending you hugs, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon! ~M
