Lucasfilm and Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI) yesterday premiered an all-new digital variety series, The Star Wars Show.

Starting this week, the seven minute show recaps the latest happenings in the Star Wars galaxy directly from the source, showcasing the energy, excitement, and passion of the fan community, as well as sitting down with prominent superfans. Hosts Andi Gutierrez and Peter Townley unveil the latest headlines from a galaxy far, far away as well as chat with special guest stars to explore all things Star Wars.

Andi Gutierrez is the digital communications manager for StarWars.com and host of Rebels Recon, the official wrap-up show of Star Wars Rebels. She co-hosted the 18-hour livestream of Force Friday and the red carpet premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, interviewing Star Wars legends and giving the cast lollipops. Andi is a Chicago native, lives in Oakland, California, and after three years with Lucasfilm, still can’t believe that she gets paid to talk about Star Wars on the Internet.

Peter Townley is an actor, host, and lifelong Star Wars fan. Hailing from northern California and raised on a farm, he connected with Luke Skywalker from a young age and became a devotee of a galaxy far, far away. Today, he acts in theater and film productions in the Bay Area, including the recent plays “The Gun Show,” “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” and “The Crucible.” Peter lives in Oakland, California, and maintains that Han shot first, always and forever.
