If you have children in your home, you’re bound to have broken crayons laying around somewhere. So, what do you do with them, throw them away? Nope! How about making some Mickey Mouse crayons with the scraps instead? Here’s how to make your own Mickey Mouse crayons!
What You’ll Need
Broken crayons
Silicone Mickey mold
How To Make It
1 Collect all of your family’s broken crayons. Remove paper wrappers.
2 Break crayons into smaller pieces and sort into bowls to create your color palette. Be creative with color combos! We suggest combining 2-3 colors total for a tie-dyed look.
3 Fill each Mickey-shaped mold to the top with crayons.
4 Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
5 Carefully remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes.
6 Once cool, pop crayons out of the mold.
7 Have fun coloring!
Notes
All oven use should be done by an adult.
