Rumors were swirling yesterday about an after hours party coming to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, but we wanted to wait until we got accurate details to report it. This morning, we’re being told that there IS an extra ticket event coming, Disney After Hours, and the details are as follows~
Guests will soon have the opportunity to enjoy Disney After Hours, a special tickets event at taking place select nights throughout April and May at the MK.
Available to a select number of guests, the event will enable participants to enjoy more magic in less time at the MK, with a shorter than typical wait time for the most popular attractions and character greetings. Ice cream novelties and bottled water are also included in the three hour event.
Disney After Hours invites guests to enjoy the last few hours of the park operating day, plus three more hours after the park closes on the following dates:
April 14, 21 and 28
May 5, 8 and 19
A separate ticket is required for Disney After Hours, pricing is $149 plus tax.
Updated to add ~ Official check in time will be 7:00 PM at the main entrance of the park.
The Magic Kingdom will close to park guests without the special ticket at 10:00 PM.
I’m speculating that this new idea was created to replace the 24 Hour Party, as I’ve heard that won’t happen this year. The Disney After Hours event seems very similar to the recent DVC parties that have been taking place as well. The above into if straight from Disney so it’s a go! Stay tuned to TMSM for further information as we hear!
