From Jonathan Frontado, Disney Cruise Line and posted on the Disney Parks Blog.
Last week I introduced a new series to tell you all there is to know about cruising with young children. As promised, today I’m sharing the top activities for little ones aboard a Disney cruise. Of course this list is just the beginning, so help me finish it by adding in the comments your child’s favorite things to do on board.
Kids Clubs
While parents enjoy some time to themselves, children can enjoy activities supervised by specially-trained Disney counselors at our way cool children’s activity centers. The youngest cruisers up to three years old can be looked after at the fancifully-themed, interactive nursery.
Disney Junior Characters and Activities
Kiddos receive hugs and autographs from favorite Disney Junior characters, like Jake and Sofia the First. In addition, the Disney Junior Dance Party will get little ones dancing and singing together!
Mini Golf
A goofy time will be had by all at this Disney-themed miniature golf course featuring quirky golf clubs and 9 interactive holes.
Slides and Splash Zones
From whimsically themed splash zones and water play areas to a children’s pool with a twisting slide, there are so many ways little ones can safely make a splash!
Movies by the Pool
Little ones will love watching some of their favorite classic Disney animated or live-action movies poolside on a state-of-the-art jumbo LED screen.
Deck Parties
The entire family will have fun together at our deck parties like the Sail-Away Celebration and Pirate IN the Caribbean. These open-air celebrations will have little ones meeting some of their favorite Disney characters and dancing to catchy tunes.
