Peter Pan was released in the US on February 5, 1953.  All of Disney’s Nine Old Men were directors of animation on Peter Pan, making it the final film they all worked on. It was released through RKO, as Buena Visa Production wouldn’t open until later in 1953. It was the highest grossing film of 1953. The movie was re-released in theaters in 1958, 1969, 1976, 1982, and 1989.
