My “Inside Out” #DisneySide style series continues with DISGUST. Do I seriously have to run 20 miles over the weekend? You have to be kidding!
One of the biggest adjustments I’ve made in order to train for a runDisney race is commit to waking up early on the weekend to complete my long training run. While having to get out of bed early on a Saturday morning is initially tough, the feeling of accomplishment I get after my long run makes it all worth it.
What keeps you motivated during long training runs for a runDisney event?
The Disney•Pixar film “Inside Out” ventures inside the mind of Riley and introduces us to the Emotions that guide her – Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger. Based in Headquarters, the five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy, whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. “Inside Out” is directed by Academy Award winner Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.”, “Up”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Up”) with an original score by Michael Giacchino (“The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille,” “Up”). “Inside Out” is in theatres now in 3D and is rated PG.
