1.)The Disneyland

The train is one of my favorite attractions at Disneyland. Not only is a great way to get from one land to another (just got off of Haunted Mansion but have a fastpass coming up at Space Mountain?), but it is an awesome option for getting off your feet, not having to maneuver through crowds and have a great tour of the park! You can
reserve seats on the Lilly Belle car (go first thing in the morning) or ask the conductor to sit up by them. Although it’s often over-looked, it is a must for every Disneyland trip.

2.) The Fireworks Show

Are there any fireworks-criers out there like me? I LOVE the fireworks at Disneyland (so much that I listen to the music while I’m driving to work, getting ready in the morning, getting ready for bed…etc..). Whether it’s the “Remember Dreams Come True” show, narrated by Disney Legend Julie Andrews, the summer show, “Magical!, or any of the special holiday shows, the fireworks is a wonderful experience for the whole family! PS: Dumbo makes an appearance during one of the shows…I lose it…every time, full on tears for this girl.

3.) A Churro…Dipped in a Dole Whip..

Oh yes my friends oh yes. It came to me on a hot July day. I had a Churro in one hand, a Dole Whip in another. And I just went for it. I can’t really describe the taste, but I can truly say, it was a gift from the heavens. Or if you’re not into mixing your treats, you can always eat them separately. Either way, you have to indulge in these yummy snacks. While your snacking on those, you should probably try a corndog, and a turkey leg, and a candy apple, and the clam chowder…

4.) Musical Chairs with the Mad Hatter and Alice

On select days, the Mad Hatter and Alice set up a game of musical chairs on Main Street. It’s usually at 2:30but you can ask a nearby Cast Member for exact times. Whether you are a participant or a spectator , this game of musical chairs will give you some great belly laughs! Take a break from the lines and take in this fun activity with your family!

5.)Cars Land

When Disney revamped California Adventureswhen the public became acquainted with Cars Land. It really feels like you have entered the world of Radiator Springs! With rides like Radiator Springs Racers and Luigi’s Flying Tires, your whole family will love the newest addition to DCA. Here’s a tip: with Radiator Springs Racers being so popular, make sure you grab a fastpass first thing after opening. Fastpasses go quick and the line can get pretty long!

A trip to Disneyland is truly a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. It was definitely hard to narrow this list down to only 5 things, but I’d be here all day if I wrote “100 Things You Have To Experience in Disneyland”! What is your favorite thing to do when you visit Disneyland? Let me know in the comments!
