One of the things that Disney guests really LOVE are the yummy treats, like the decorated apples or the rice krispie treats. Well, if you’d like to make your own Mickey rice krispie treats at home, we found an easy recipe for you to try!
Ingredients for Mickey Mouse Rice Krispies Treats
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 ounce package mini marshmallows
6 cups KELLOGG’S Rice Krispies cereal
Dark Chocolate Ears
1 and 1/2 cups dark chocolate melting wafers
1 and 1/2 tablespoons paramount crystals
Instructions
Melt butter in large sauce pan on low-medium heat until melted.
Add mini marshmallows; stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
Add KELLOGG’S Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using a spatula, press mixture into a 13x9x2″ pan coated with cooking spray.
Using a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter coated with cooking spray, press into still warm treats. Press treats inside of cookie cutter down with your finger. Remove cutter and Mickey treat to waxed paper and gently press out treat. Respray cookie cutter with cooking spray as needed.
Press scraps together and flatten into pan again. Continue cutting shapes until no more Mickey Mouse Rice Krispies Treats can be cut.
For Dark Chocolate Ears
In a microwave safe bowl, add chocolate wafers and paramount crystals. Microwave on medium heat for 30 seconds. Remove and stir slowly. Replace in microwave for 15 second increments until chocolate is completely melted.
Dip Mickey Mouse Rice Krispies Treats into chocolate and lightly tap to remove excess chocolate; transfer to waxed paper. Repeat until all treats are coated in chocolate. Allow Mickey Mouse Rice Krispies Treats to sit until chocolate hardens. Eat & Enjoy!
Notes
Mickey Mouse Rice Krispies Treats should be stored in an airtight container and will keep for 4+ days.
