Disney from a Teen’s Perspective: The Magic Isn’t Just in the Rides

Lots of people come to Disney for the rides since it may be their only time coming, but to me, the magic isn’t just in the rides. Sometimes you need to come just to visit the atmosphere. Disney has a magical atmosphere!

As soon as you walk into any Disney park, you will know what I mean by “magical atmosphere.” Everything around you is beautiful. Most people rush past it and miss that beauty. Hollywood Studios is an example, since the hat is in the works of being taken down, people tend to try and avoid that area. The street on the other hand has that old Hollywood feel. Have you stopped to see these beautiful ladies from old Hollywood?

EPCOT has so many hidden gems that we are still finding! Last time we went we visited the Canada pavilion and found some beautiful flowers. We’ve never taken the time to visit it before, but it is really beautiful! I could sit there all day taking pictures of all the flowers.

Animal Kingdom is another magical place to explore. Again, there is lots of construction going on, but if you look past the walls; you will see the beauty in the park. So many beautiful flowers and scenery to see.

At some point, just make sure you take a minute to take in the atmosphere of the parks. Disney is so much more than just a place to ride rides. There’s so much more to see! Do you ever stop to take in the true beauty of Disney?

About TMSM’s Teen Perspective Writer Gabby Adani:
”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 13 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”
