The Christmas season has fallen upon us and the Magic Kingdom is now decorated! I love this time of year. All of the decorations make the Magic Kingdom super pretty! There are some things that I miss but there are others that I still love.
This year, the garland that normally hang across the bulidings down Main Street are gone. They were definitely my favorite thing to see. This year they have wreaths that are on the buildings instead. They are just as beautiful as the garland. The toy soldiers are here as well! The halloween pumpkin people were quickly swapped out with toy soldiers for this time of year.
The castle lighting was beautiful. I miss the old stage show which had Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella and friends. Seeing Elsa light up the castle didn’t feel right. I wish they would’ve incorporated Cinderella somehow since it’s her castle. The projection was amazing but the actually lighting felt rushed.
The Jingle Cruise is back! Woohoo! I love how they transform this ride. It’s so awesome! They bring out their holiday themed jokes to add extra fun!
Overall, the holidays in the Magic Kingdom are the best! What’s your favorite time of year to visit Disney?
About TMSM’s Teen Perspective Writer Gabby Adani:
”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 13 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”
