In case you haven’t heard of it, and shame on you for not, a new app was released recently for the Star Wars fans called, Star Wars Commander. Here is some more information in regards to the app from the Disney Insider.
Star Wars Commander is a new free app from Disney Interactive that lets you build an army and dive into the long, long ago conflict between the evil Empire and the noble Rebels that hope to bring them down. Though the app just recently come out for iPhone and iPad, it has immediately climbed the ranks of the iTunes store and become an Editor’s Choice pick.
Because they’re such big fans of the app, Apple invited members team who developed Star Wars Commander to participate in a live discussion at the Apple Store in New York City. On hand were developers Nathon Etter and Christopher Winters from Disney Interactive and Matt Fillbrandt from Lucasfilm, and the event was moderated by notable video game journalist Geoff Keighley. What followed was an in-depth preview of the game, as well as a discussion about all the work that goes into making a new game set in the Star Wars universe that not only lives up to but exceeds fan expectations.
