If you have followed The Main Street Mouse for any length of time, you may have noticed we really like Captain Jack Sparrow.  I saw that the Oh My Disney blog put out this about the Captain and I wanted to share it with all our loyal members.

Captain Jack Sparrow always manages to come out on top. He gets captured by the British, locked up for life, sentenced to death, even abandoned on an island, and he continually manages to survive. It’s mind boggling really, but we accept it because he’s pretty awesome. We’ve gathered some moments from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies where Jack just wins at life:

Like that time that Jack is about to be hanged, and he totally gets out of it.

It was dicey for awhile.
It was dicey for awhile.

Or when the ship that Jack is on starts sinking, but he makes the most of it and just poses on top.

Looking super attractive, may we add.

His arch nemesis has a bigger spyglass?

Jack is all about creative solutions.
Jack is all about creative solutions.

Or that one time that Jack is stuck on a desert island, but he still finds a way to have fun.

He gets rescued, of course.
He gets rescued, of course.

He often finds himself in dangerous locations, but winds up pulling some fancy maneuver.

Like jumping out of a window to safety.
Like jumping out of a window to safety.

This is one tricky situation…

But Jack always finds a way.
But Jack always finds a way.

The Black Pearl even winds up in a bottle, and Jack still manages to save it.

It’s his one true love.
It’s his one true love.

This one is just weird.

It’s cool though, Jack still winds up saving the day.

One of the biggest wins for Jack is that he’s a seriously handsome pirate.

That fact never wavers.
That fact never wavers.

In fact, let’s just look at another few photos of him. For science.

We love you, Captain.

Don’t ever change.
