The trailer shows off a Santa we’ve never seen before, from pulling off figure skating tricks on an ice rink to leading a very unlikely holiday heist.
What The Man With the Bag Is About
When Santa’s iconic red bag is stolen by a rogue elf with a grudge, played by Awkwafina, Christmas is suddenly in danger. With time running out, Santa turns to his naughty list and recruits Vance, a thief played by Reacher star Alan Ritchson, to help him pull off a heist and save Christmas.
It’s Schwarzenegger’s return to Christmas movies 30 years after the holiday classic Jingle All the Way, this time in the big red suit himself.
Who’s in the Cast
Along with Schwarzenegger, Ritchson and Awkwafina, the cast includes Jane Krakowski, Ken Jeong, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Michael Cyril Creighton and Berkeley James.
The movie is directed by Adam Shankman, who Disney fans know as the director of Disenchanted on Disney+, and written by Allan Rice. Ritchson is also a producer.
When to Watch
The Man With the Bag streams exclusively on Prime Video starting December 2, 2026, with no theatrical release planned.
