Disney Village at Disneyland Paris is Getting a Major Makeover Heres Everything Coming

Disney Village at Disneyland Paris is in the middle of a transformation, and the updates are genuinely exciting. The entire area is being reimagined as a destination in its own right, and there is a lot happening between now and 2027 that fans should know about before their next trip to the resort.

A Fresh New Look

The redesign gives Disney Village a contemporary feel with brick, wood, and steel facades alongside transparent storefronts. The goal is to create a vibrant atmosphere that feels worth visiting on its own, not just a spot you pass through on your way in or out of the parks.

One of the most exciting openings happening right now is Disney Wonders, a new flagship shopping experience debuting on September 22, 2026. The store is making a statement with two spectacular chandeliers featuring illustrations of more than 40 characters. Storefront artwork pulls from Star Wars, Peter Pan, and Toy Story, while the checkout areas celebrate Disney and Pixar animation through iconic scene illustrations. This one looks stunning.

The Shopping Lineup

Disney Village will have a full roster of retail once everything comes together. Alongside Disney Wonders and the existing World of Disney, you will find Deco by Disney for homeware and collectibles, Disney Glamour for apparel and jewelry with brand collaborations, Disney Style for trendy lifestyle items, The LEGO Store, and Pelé Soccer.

New and Updated Dining

The dining scene is getting a serious upgrade. Casa Giulia, an Italian restaurant opening at the main entrance by the end of 2026, will span two levels with an elegant design featuring terrazzo, brick, wood, and greenery. The menu will cover Italian favorites and cocktails, and there will be a Giulia Express counter serving pizza by the slice, focaccia, pastries, and gelato. That quick-service option sounds like a winner for park days.

Vapiano is also getting a full refurbishment beginning at the end of 2026 and completing in early 2027. The update brings a brighter contemporary design, enhanced natural lighting, an updated terrace, new landscaping, and a children’s play area.

And in 2027, a beloved Disney Village classic is coming back. Annette’s Diner, the 1950s American diner that has been a resort icon since 1992, is reopening with a refreshed aesthetic including colorful vintage car-inspired booths, restored jukeboxes, and an updated dining room. Fans of the original will be happy to see this one return.

Brasserie Rosalie, Sports Bar and Lounge, Billy Bob’s Country Western Bar, Five Guys, and McDonald’s will continue to round out the dining options in the meantime.

A Reinvented Cinema Experience

Pathé Cinema will undergo a major renovation beginning in September 2027. The overhaul includes recliner seating, upgraded projection technology, a new Pathé Café, expanded food and beverage options, a redesigned Häagen-Dazs space with an outdoor terrace, and an entirely new Pathé Games area. The renovation is being phased so the cinema can remain mostly operational throughout.

Holiday Magic Is Also on the Way

Disney village christmas decor

Disney Enchanted Christmas will bring a fresh round of seasonal décor to Disney Village, including Christmas trees, giant character-themed snowflakes, and festive lighting throughout. There is also an interactive holiday activity where guests can search for hidden characters within snowflake designs to earn an exclusive ornament reward. That is a sweet little touch for families.

Still More to Come

The transformation continues in phases, with the North Block approaching completion and the South Block still ahead, bringing modernized architecture and new offerings in line with the current design direction. By early 2027, Disney Village is going to look and feel like a completely different place in all the best ways.

If you have been to Disneyland Paris before, this is one more reason to start planning that return trip.
