Yes, you read that right. *NSYNC member Joey Fatone is bringing his restaurant, Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice, to Universal CityWalk, and the official grand opening is this Saturday, September 19! What Is Fat One’s?
Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice is a restaurant founded by Joey Fatone and his manager Joe Mulvihill, and it’s now officially calling Universal Orlando Resort home. The menu features nine gourmet hot dogs loaded with creative toppings that go way beyond your standard ballpark fare. A few standouts include:
The Fat One — a footlong hot dog topped with roasted pork, pepperoni, chili beans, cheddar cheese sauce, red onion sauce, pop fries, and chives on a soft bun. It’s a lot, and it sounds incredible.
The Brazilian — a grilled linguica sausage with onion sauce, jalapeño veganaise, cotija, Calabrian honey, red peppers, cilantro, and potato sticks on a brioche bun.
The Dirty K-Pop Dog — a Korean inspired hot dog with kimchi slaw, spicy gochujang mayo, scallions, crispy onions, and black sesame on a brioche bun.
Rounding out the menu are authentic Italian ices in a variety of flavors and specialty beers — making this a seriously fun stop whether you’re heading into the parks or just exploring CityWalk.
How to Score a Free Hot Dog from Joey Fatone Himself
Here’s the part you’ll want to mark on your calendar. To celebrate the grand opening, Joey Fatone and Joe Mulvihill will both be on hand at Fat One’s on September 19 to welcome the first guests through the door. The first 100 guests will receive a wristband for one free hot dog, served personally by Joey Fatone, who will also stick around for a limited time for photos.
If you want to be in that first group, plan to arrive at Fat One’s by 10:00 AM. Space is limited and it’s first come, first served, so get there early!

While you’re at CityWalk on September 19, there’s even more to celebrate. The beloved Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen is marking its 10th anniversary from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a chocolate display featuring characters Penelope and Jacques, an interactive chocolate dipping station, a chocolate origins education experience, and a special Toothsome 10th Anniversary Milkshake available for purchase.
