SeaWorld Orlando’s award-winning Howl-O-Scream kicked off last night on September 11, and if you haven’t made your plans yet, now is the time! This year’s event is the most ambitious lineup in the event’s history, and it runs on select nights through October 31.
Five Haunted Houses, Including a First Ever Movie Inspired Experience
The headliner this year is “I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch” — the very first movie inspired haunted house in Howl-O-Scream history. Based on the beloved Sony Pictures horror franchise, guests are dropped into the infamous Southport Massacre and must escape the relentless Fisherman. If you’re a fan of the films, this one is going to hit differently.
Four more houses round out the lineup. “Dark Net” pulls you into the sinister depths of the digital underworld. “Everything Must Stay” turns what looks like an ordinary estate sale into something truly horrifying. “Crawlspace” forces you through tight, shadowy spaces where something could be lurking just inches away. And returning fan favorite “Raveyard” is back to drag you into a high energy nightmare where the party never stops even for the dead.
Six Scare Zones, New Themed Bars and More
Beyond the houses, six immersive scare zones are spread throughout the park, including the all new “Nekrosis,” where Pestilence reigns over a decaying realm. Five brand new themed bars are also on hand serving sinister cocktails, and live entertainment keeps the energy going all night long. Add in the thrill of riding coasters in the dark, and you’ve got a full night of frights.
