Two of the biggest names in the culinary world are joining forces at Walt Disney World this fall, and food lovers will not want to miss it. James Beard Award-winning chefs Michael Mina and Todd English will come together for a first-ever collaborative tasting experience at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic on Saturday, November 21 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The intimate, one-night-only event is limited to a small group of guests and tickets are already on sale.
The experience will take guests through 10 thoughtfully crafted courses with beverage pairings from around the world, including selections from Italy and Napa. Both chefs will be present and active throughout, sharing the stories behind their dishes and the people, travels and flavors that have shaped their careers. Mina’s menu leans into his Middle Eastern heritage with standout dishes like marinated big-eye tuna with crispy falafel and whipped tahina, Aleppo grilled poussin with creamy chickpea and orzo koshary, and a triple-seared Wagyu striploin with matbucha and olive oil smashed sweet potatoes. English, who draws heavily from New England coastal cuisine, will bring dishes like brown butter miso poached lobster with truffled dashi glaze, pan-seared Nantucket scallops with fresh pressed apple cider and toasted hazelnut butter, and roasted Chilean sea bass with blood orange glaze and shaved porcini mushroom.
Both chefs already have restaurants at the Walt Disney World Dolphin. Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina offers a modern take on the classic American steakhouse, while Todd English’s bluezoo brings a vibrant, creative approach to seafood.
