This year’s Halloween is definitely not going to be the same. All thanks to the pandemic, we will have to celebrate Halloween while keeping safety protocols in mind and maintaining social distancing. However, all hope is not lost. According to a report by Timeout, fans of Tim Burton can now take part in an incredible Nightmare Before Christmas drive-through event, thanks to Freeform.

Freeform’s Halloween House is back for this third annual iteration in a safer drive-through format. The Halloween Road is a family-friendly event where you can have an immersive experience from the safety of your vehicle. You will drive through scenes that are inspired by some of the movies featured in Freeform’s lineup, like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Ghostbusters, and many more. It promises to set up more scenes inspired by the channel’s marathon of family-friendly Halloween movies.

The event’s description on the website reads, “Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween returns! And this year we’re taking our annual Halloween event on road, quiet literally!… Cause, even ghosts need to stay socially distant. It’s an outdoor immersive experience all behind the wheel of your car! Drive-thru(if your dare) the world of “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas”, Hocus Pocus, Ghostbuster, and other spooktacular surprises filled with games, performance, and prizes.”

Each experience is going to last around 30 minutes and you can enjoy all the holiday traditions from the safety of your vehicle. Attendees can expect an exciting series of Halloween environment, mini-maze routes, giant pumpkins, headless horsemen, and countless spider webs. There will also be trick-or-treating too, where instead of walking, you will drive down streets, and actors will be filling your candy buckets with wrapped candy using a pole.

Once you’ve gathered your favorite selection of candies, you can experience a number of beautiful installations like a mesmerizing Jack-O-Lantern tunnel with over 1,000 pumpkins! You can click many photos in these places, take videos, and the best part? They will be sent to you via email at the end of your experience.

This will be Freeform’s third Halloween House event. But keep in mind, there will be a number of restrictions due to COVID-19 and even though it had to be re-imagined as a drive-through, it will be still pretty enough for your Instagram gallery. The event will take place from October 2-4 at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles, a neighborhood that is largely known to be filled with Victorian-style homes. Fans can make reservations starting at 10 am on Saturday, September 12 on their website https://www.31nightsofhalloween.com/. The tickets are free but keep in mind, they will run out pretty quickly.
