Happy Wednesday Main Streeters! It’s time for our weekly check in so let’s get to chatting!
Well Halloween is still over a week away, but it feels like the Halloween season has been going on for a very long time. Actually I suppose that is a true statement because Disney gets ready for Halloween in August. We have been so busy that I haven’t made it out to the parks a lot except to work. On Saturday we decided to go to Hollywood Studios so the boys could finally take a ride on the Disney Skyliner. It was back up and running again and I was excited to go on. The boys were looking forward to it so that’s what we did as soon as we got to the parking lot. Not surprisingly they enjoyed the Skyliner as much as I did. A lot of our readers have been asking about the Disney Skyliner since it was closed for about a week, so I decided to do a live feed from the gondola so people could see for themselves what it was all about. It was very windy that day, but all in all the right itself was very smooth with a nice breeze. After our fun Gondola ride we went into the park to walk around Galaxy’s Edge.
One thing I noticed at Hollywood Studios and was ridiculously excited for… Christmas decorations! Ok, well just a little bit but they have to start somewhere. There were stars up and down Sunset Boulevard, and screens being put up on the side I assume for the Christmas fun that happens there. Sunset Seasons Greetings! You know, with projections and laser snow? I know some feel that it is too early to start getting ready for Christmas but for those of us that live near a Disney park we are pretty much ready for it. I was a bit happy to see the stars because I absolutely love how Disney does Christmas. After I was done admiring the holiday decor we met up with some Main Streeters before heading home. It rained and we got pretty soaked, but of course did our best to enjoy regardless!
Speaking of early Christmas at Disney… This week all the amazing Holiday merchandise starting hitting the shelves. So much that it’s hard to keep up with. If you’re looking for a festive spirit jersey, you’re in luck because Disney has a few to choose from. They also have accessories, T-shirts, household decorations and more. There is so much that I would love to have, but of course I have to narrow it down so I haven’t bought anything as of yet. Yet is the keyword here. I love it all!
This week we have been working every day as usual. It’s been busy but truthfully we prefer it that way. Busy is good. I’m trying to get myself ready for November because we have our meet up in two weeks, then we will be going on a Christmas cruise media trip, then we will have family in town for Thanksgiving. Oh and the next TMSM Live on Location is in there too. I’m also working on two books… one WILL be out for the holidays. The other I’m not hopeful for, there’s just not enough hours in the day. We do have some exciting opportunities coming though and I’m grateful for it all. I’ve been missing home lately, it does get lonely here sometimes, but in the next few weeks I’ll have two rounds of family staying in my house. First my best girlfriends then my parents. It truly helps keep me going. Before I know it the big meet up will be here, on November 9th! If you’re going to be around you should join us, it’s always a fun time. I’ll post the schedule below! That’s it for this week my dear friends. Thank you for following along with us, I truly appreciate it. Until next time… sending you love, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon! -M
