Calling all foodie Instagrammers! Today, we celebrate National Picnic Day with these picture-perfect spots across the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether you’re flying high above the clouds with Dumbo the Flying Elephant or on your way to brave Expedition Everest in Asia, we found the perfect park spots for you to enjoy your favorite Disney snack while adding some pixie dust to your social feeds!
From Future World to World Showcase, you’ll find picturesque picnic spots all over Epcot! As you know from my National Coffee Day blog post, I’m a caffeine fiend so coffee is always a big part of my park days. One of my favorite spots to grab a cup of joe at Epcot is the Joffrey’s coffee stand in Future World. And of course, what’s coffee without a little something sweet? There’s no better way to start the day than with a gorgeous view of Spaceship Earth and a cup of your favorite brew!
Howdy, partner! We’re grabbing all kinds of tasty lunch treats over at Woody’s Lunchbox in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. What better way to celebrate National Picnic Day than with a tray full of goodies straight from Toy Story Land. I’m a HUGE grilled cheese fan so this is a must-do for me every time I visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In addition to delectable sandwiches and the almost too-pretty-to-eat Lunch Box Tarts, I like to stock up on treats to take with me like some Mini Babybel snack cheese and Cuties mandarin oranges. And while you’re shrunk down to the size of a toy, don’t forget to snap some pictures in front of the larger-than-life juice boxes and snack cheese!
Throughout the lands of Magic Kingdom Park, there are plenty of places to stop for a quick bite. One of my personal favorites is the classic Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar – it’s the best afternoon pick-me-up to satisfy my sweet tooth. Tucked in the corner of Storybook Circus, you’ll find some perfectly-themed tables to sit at and enjoy your ice cream after snapping the perfect picture for your followers. And, don’t forget to pay a visit to Mickey’s friends at Pete’s Silly Slideshow while you’re there!
Have you checked out the new Drinkwallah seating area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom? Pull up a chair near the water, grab a Coca-Cola frozen beverage, and enjoy the breathtaking views of Asia. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of Kevin as she makes her way past UP! A Great Bird Adventure, featuring her friends, Russell and Dug!
