Spring break is upon us, and that means it’s time to book some spectacular dining events for your upcoming vacation! Here’s what’s happening this spring at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
Sweet Sundays – 2019 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort
The popular Sweet Sundays event is back again this year with celebrity pastry chefs, sweets, and more! This event is a great way to start your day at the Food & Wine Festival currently taking place at Disney California Adventure park. During the Sweet Sundays event, you’ll be able to join a celebrated pastry chef for an entertaining dessert-focused demonstration followed by an interview with the chef and a light brunch buffet featuring one of the chef’s yummy dishes. See how these talented pastry chefs bake their signature desserts to perfection, and learn a few tips and tricks along the way! This event happens on select Sundays from 11 am to 1 pm throughout the duration of the festival, which runs through April 23.

Dinner with the Disney Chefs – 2019 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort
If you’ve ever wanted to meet the culinary talent behind all of the incredible food and beverage offerings at the Disneyland Resort, then this event is the place to be! For one night only, you can sit down with the Disneyland Resort chefs and sommeliers (who are all featured in the Disney Festivals Cookbook) while enjoying a wonderful four-course dinner inspired by the festival recipes reflecting cultures and cuisines from around the world. Each course is perfectly paired with hand-selected wines and cocktails, showcasing amazing flavors, cooking techniques, and beautiful presentation.
Dinner with the Disney Chefs celebrates storytelling through food and wine and is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you want to enhance your festival experience, this event is one night only on Thursday, March 28 from 6:30-9:00 pm and is located at the Vineyard Room at Wine Country Trattoria.

Mickey’s Soundsational Parade Plaza Inn Dining Packages at Disneyland Park
Looking for a scrumptious lunch and a fabulous viewing spot for Mickey’s Soundsational Parade at Disneyland park? Then this dining package is for you! In addition to enjoying a delicious midday meal at Plaza Inn Restaurant, when booking this package you’ll receive one voucher for reserved viewing for the parade. What’s on the menu, you ask? Adults can chow down on their choice of Pork Chop with traditional BBQ sauce, Penne Pasta topped with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese, or Apple Salad with green apples, blue cheese, chopped walnuts, and dried cranberries tossed in a sweet apple vinaigrette. Each entrée is also served your choice of fountain beverage or bottled water, a petit apple salad (excluding the Apple Salad entrée option), specialty mashed potatoes, a buttermilk biscuit, seasonal vegetables, and a slice of yummy layered cake. Kids can enjoy a fun Chicken Tenders plate with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, their choice of applesauce or carrots, and a slice of cake as well as a small bottled water or lowfat milk.
Guests may reserve a time between 1:30-4:00 pm to pick up their meal and are welcome to dine at any available table at Plaza Inn Restaurant. The reserved viewing area will be available for the second show of the day if the parade is scheduled for two shows. Reservations will be available starting on March 12, and may be made by visiting the Disneyland Resort website.
2019 Disney Family of Wines Weekend at Disney’s Contemporary Resort – Walt Disney World Resort
The Disney Family of Wines is a carefully crafted list of wines featuring vineyards from all over. Each of these vineyards has its own special tie to Disney’s past, present, and future. The wines can be found at many restaurants throughout our parks and resorts, such as Carthay Circle Restaurant and Alfresco Tasting Terrace at Disney California Adventure park or the Grand Floridian Café and Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort. And if you’ve ever wanted to learn more about this incredible wine list, then this is a weekend you won’t want to miss.
The Disney Family of Wines weekend includes a two-night stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and three days of culinary adventure. During the weekend, you’ll be able to explore flavors and interact with a collection of wines produced by winemakers and wineries that have a distinct connection to Disney. With specially curated workshops, meetings with the winemakers, and delicious meals, your stay will definitely be a memorable one.
In addition, you’ll be able to join representatives from each of the wineries, including Disney Legend Kurt Russell, CEO of GoGi Wines, as they share their stories, recipes, and history of winemaking alongside their personal Disney experiences.

The Wonderful World of Wine at Yachtsman Steakhouse – Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Walt Disney World Resort
Calling all wine-lovers, this event allows you to sip and swirl your way through some of the world’s most renowned wine-growing regions, all from the comfort of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The Yachtsman Steakhouse invites you to explore the wonderful world of wine every second Wednesday of the month. Sip on samples of the liquid legacies of the finest appellations and vineyards throughout California, Italy, France, Chile, Australia, and more. You’ll enjoy learning about flavor profiles, winemaking techniques, and even soil and climate conditions from Advanced Sommelier Kristopher Soto. This engaging class also includes a small tasting plate paired perfectly with each wine selection.
