CONTEST WINNER – ‘Twas the Night Before Meet Up

Happy Thursday Main Streeters! Right before Meet-Up we issued a contest challenge and we have a WINNER!

Congratulations to Jaclyn Reel who wins custom created ears from Imagineering Emporium!

Here is her winning submission. We hope you all enjoy it as we round out the Holiday celebrations and get ready to welcome the New Year!

‘Twas the Night before Meet Up, and all through the Pirate of the Caribbean ,
Not an Atwood was stirring, not even a Monkey.
The Silk Stockings were hung by the Cannons with care,
In hopes that St. Captain Jack soon would be there.

The staff were nestled all snug in their Bunks,
While visions of sugar- Jelly danced in their Belly.
And Jack the dog in his ‘kerchief, and I in my Robe,
Had just settled down for a Wavie winter’s nap.

When out in Fan Nation there arose such a Banter,
Staff and I sprang from the Hammock to see what was the matter.
Away to the discussion board Staff Shuffled like a flash,
Pull open the messages, and Storm up the chats.

The posts on the thread of the new Popcorn Bucket
Gave the availability date of midnight to shoppers posting below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear?
But a Large Ship, and eight tiny crabs.

With a Crazy Adventurous driver, so lively and Handsome,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Captain Jack!
More rapid than bulldogs his Crabs they came,
And he Click, and Stare, and called them by name;

“Now Dasher! Now Michele and Vixen!
On Scott , On Corey, On Susie, and Blitzen!
To the top of the Pirate of the Caribbean! To the top of the tree!
Now run away! Run away! Run away all!”

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the Deck,
The prancing and clinking with each Tiny Click.
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
St. Captain Jack came with a bound.

His eyes — how they Danced, His dimples, how Savvy!
His eyes were like Chocolates, his mouth like a Strawberries!
He spoke not a word but went straight to her/his work,
And filled all the Silk Stockings, then turned with a jerk.

And laying his hand aside of his Tempe,
And giving a nod, he Blinks.
He Swaggers to his sleigh, to his team gave a Arrr
And away they all Soar like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, as he Sinking out of sight,
“Merry Meet Up to all, and to all a good Parley!”
