The Glass Knife, Winter Park! #OffTMSM

A common question that we get here at TMSM is food related, of course. Our readers want to know where they can go to get some amazing food that’s NOT on Disney property, for a change of pace. Well, we have a great restaurant for you, in Winter Park Florida. It’s called The Glass Knife, and it’s fantastic.

The Glass Knife offers home style baked goods and food, from sandwiches to desserts. When we visited The Glass Knife last week, we had the following;

Roasted Turkey Club Sandwich
Roasted, sliced turkey breast on a fresh-baked pretzel roll topped with aged cheddar cheese, Neuske’s Applewood-smoked bacon, vine-ripe tomatoes, arugula, peppercorn aioli and honey Dijon mustard.

Egg Salad Sandwich
House-made egg salad, baby spinach, mom’s icebox pickles and sliced vine-ripe tomatoes on a multigrain croissant. Served with Terra chips and mom’s icebox pickles.

Both of these sandwiches were fantastic. The quality was top notch, and we for sure would get these sandwiches again. The pickles on the side tasted like something your Grandma used to make, everything had that homemade feel. So good! Speaking of good, we had dessert! Here’s the scoop on that!

Cheesecake with Caramel and Berries
Creamy house-made cheesecake with buttery graham cracker crust, layered with berry compote, whipped caramel cream, red fruit crunch, and mixed nut streusel finished with golden crisp pearls and a fresh raspberry.

Chocolate Pumpkin Cream Puff
A light, chocolate chop pastry stuffed with our house-made chocolate brownie, a caramel cookie crunch and bourbon-touched pumpkin spice mousse, finished with candied pumpkin seeds.

The Glass Knife has a large selection of food options, you can see the full menu at https://theglassknife.com. When you visit, you can order one of their pastries or fun donuts to go, to enjoy later. There are so many choices! So, when you’re visiting the Disney area next time, take time to go visit The Glass Knife for an amazing dining experience! You’ll be so glad that you did!
