Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! It’s time for our weekly chat, so here we go!

First, I’d like to say that I hope those that were in the path of Hurricane Florence are doing alright. We were watching the news from home and sending prayers. We have been lucky enough to make friends from all over the world, all through The Main Street Mouse. So when bad weather hits or when things suddenly happen, we do worry. We love you guys and hope all is well. We’ve managed to dodge unfavorable weather so far this season. Sure, we get thunderstorms everyday, but that’s about it. Oh, but it’s hot here. Very hot. The heat index has been over 100 degrees, so if you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World, make sure you prepare! I’d LOVE for things to cool off a little bit. Fall is coming for everyplace else… but we’re still in summer mode.

We’ve been working a lot lately. Probably too much because it’s taken it’s toll. A break was needed, so Saturday we took the boys over to Universal Orlando to see their Halloween decorations and such. Yes, we went to the “dark side” at the kids request. I just wanted to get out of the house, so I was glad to go anywhere. We went to see the Halloween merchandise and such in the day time, because my younger son refuses to go to Halloween Horror Nights. The older one THINKS he wants to go, but I don’t think he realizes it’s much scarier than Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. My curiosity is there for HHN, especially because they have a Poltergeist house this year. When I was little I LOVED that movie, even though it scared me. I believe that was the beginning of my hatred of clowns actually. Regardless, I’d love to see the new house, but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to handle the overall feel of HHN. I’m scared, I fully admit it. I guess we’ll see, the season just started! You never know!

Monday morning, it was back to work, as I had to be at Hollywood Studios by 6:30 am. Why would I be there so early? Well, I was invited to a media event for Disney Early Morning Magic. I never say no when Disney invites me somewhere! Early Morning Magic gives guests the opportunity to have a nice breakfast and enjoy Toy Story Land before the park even opens. The breakfast foods were pretty good. You can choose between different egg dishes, fried chicken, and even croissant donuts! After breakfast, I went over and rode the Slinky Dog Dash coaster. The nice part of Early Morning Magic, is that there was NO line for the attractions back there. Normally you’d wait about an hour for the Slinky coaster, so it was nice to walk right on. I’m fortunate that I get asked to try these different events, so that I can report to you all on a firsthand basis. Speaking of on the scene reporting, the construction in the parking lot over at the Studios is crazy. The lot is HUGE now, and the walk to get to the gates is a lot longer! I’ll post video of that below. We also had great content for Monday nights live show, so be sure to watch that too!

This week we’re busy with our clothing business, Lost Princess Apparel. There is some great Halloween themed merchandise that’s on the way, plus new items that we already have. Jack Skellington, Disney Villains, and Hocus Pocus items are in transit! If you haven’t checked out the new shop yet, you can do so a www.lostprincessapparel.com! We’re adding new clothing all the time!

Well, that’s it for the week. I’m busy working on another book, so wish me luck there! I’ll tell you more about it once it’s closer to being done. The goal was to have it available before the Christmas season, so we shall see. Thank you all for following along with my family and reading our site each week, it’s appreciated. Don’t forget that we’re giving away a new Vera Bradley purse this week. All you have to do is share posts on our Facebook page, and you’re entered. Each share counts as an entry. We will announce the winner on Monday’s TMSM Weekly Live. Until next time, sending you lots of love, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon! ~M
