One of our favorite food events of the year is coming up fast, and this year it is supporting a great local cause. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic has named the Orange County Sheriff Foundation as the charity beneficiary for its 17th annual event, happening Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21, 2026.
About the Orange County Sheriff Foundation
The Orange County Sheriff Foundation is a nonprofit that helps Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies, employees and their families when they face unexpected hardships, including serious injuries and illnesses. The foundation also supports the families of fallen and injured officers.
“This partnership is one that’s made in heaven,” said Obie Diaz, an Orange County Sheriff Foundation board member and radio host on Orlando’s K92.3. “The skills and talents of the team at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, plus the benefit for our local law enforcement in need. It’s really appreciated and a great pairing.”
The partnership is a natural fit. The Swan and Dolphin has a long history of giving back to the Central Florida community, and the resort’s Area General Manager, Sean Verney, serves on the Orange County Sheriff Foundation’s board of directors.
What to Expect at the Food & Wine Classic
If you have never been, the Food & Wine Classic is a giant street party on the Swan and Dolphin causeway with unlimited tastings from the resort’s award winning restaurants, plus live entertainment and fireworks.
- Dates: Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21, 2026
- Time: 5 to 9 p.m. each night
- Where: The causeway at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin
- Drinks: More than 200 beverage options, including dozens of wine booths, with certified sommeliers on hand to help with pairings
- Extras: Seminars, live entertainment and fireworks
- Who can go: The event is open to the public, so you do not need to be staying at the resort

This year also includes a special collaborative tasting with chefs Todd English and Michael Mina.
