Gideon’s Bakehouse just shared some exciting updates for fans. The beloved Disney Springs bakery is adding new shipping options and an easier way to collect trading cards to its website, hosting its favorite event of the year this Sunday, and building a brand new art team for 2027.
New Shipping Options Are Coming to the Gideon’s Website
Starting in November, Gideon’s is rolling out updates to its online store, beginning with shipping:
- Flat rate shipping for smaller orders
- Free shipping on qualifying orders
- International shipping, which Gideon’s says it is looking to officially add for overseas fans
Gideon’s hasn’t announced the flat rate price or the free shipping minimum yet, so we will update this post when those details are released.
More Trading Cards With Every Order
This is the change collectors will love most. Right now, online orders come with one Gideon’s trading card per order. Soon, you will get one trading card for every $20 in your cart. That means an $80 order gets you four cards.
Cat Charity for Liberation Cat House This Sunday
Gideon’s calls this its favorite event of the year. The Cat Charity benefiting Liberation Cat House takes place Sunday, October 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East End Market in Orlando.
Here is what you can expect:
- A special Limited Edition Cookie
- Exclusive merchandise
- A Benedict art print
- Adoptable cats you can meet (and maybe take home!)
- Almost the entire Gideon’s crew in attendance
Best of all, 100% of cat related sales go to Liberation Cat House. Gideon’s will share more details on the day of the event.
Can’t make it? Any leftover merchandise will be available at the Gideon’s Bakehouse online store on Tuesday, October 27.
A New Art Team for 2027
Gideon’s will share a sneak peek of one of its behind the scenes art projects on Wednesday, October 21.
With art director Michael Reyes moving on to work directly with Disney, Gideon’s will continue with his Morsels plan through the end of the year. In 2027, a new chapter begins. Rather than replacing one person, Gideon’s is building a full art team, which allows it to plan year to year and take on “projects we’ve always dreamed of completing,” both inside and outside the bakery.
Gideon’s teased, “It’s going to be another big year … literally. You will be pleased.”
