Universal Orlando Resort is giving fans two exciting new reasons to visit Universal CityWalk this fall. Wicked: The Experience Arrives To Universal Orlando ResortWicked fans can head to Oztacular Spectacular, a fan event happening for one day only on Saturday, October 24. Fans of NBC’s hit series The Traitors: New Blood can visit a new themed bar experience, now open at Universal’s Great Movie Escape.
Oztacular Spectacular: Saturday, October 24
From 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 24, Universal CityWalk will turn into the dazzling world of Oz. Universal is calling it a “thrillifying” celebration of the Wicked film franchise. There’s plenty to see and do:
- Photo spots inspired by stained glass, perfect for your next profile picture
- Character appearances and meet and greets with Glinda and Elphaba
- Special displays with costumes and props from the Wicked films
- A DJ playing all the Wicked hits while guests “dance through life” on a yellow brick dance floor
- Wicked trivia sessions with a chance to win exclusive giveaways
- The latest Wicked merchandise at the Universal Legacy Store
The Traitors: New Blood Themed Bar: Now Open
Over at Universal’s Great Movie Escape, fans of The Traitors: New Blood can step into the world of NBC’s hit reality competition. The experience includes two different bars. “The Library” is on the first floor, and “The Roundtable” is on the second floor.
Guests can pose for photos and see set pieces, props, and costumes worn by host Alan Cumming and others, all while sipping specialty drinks inspired by the show. The themed bar is open Wednesday through Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The best part is that no admission is needed to visit the bars. Separate admission is only required if you want to play the escape rooms at Universal’s Great Movie Escape.
If you’re keeping up with the show, a new episode of The Traitors: New Blood airs Thursday, October 8 at 8/7c on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
