Walt Disney World is kicking off one of the most vibrant celebrations of the year, and it runs all the way through October 15. Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month is being celebrated across the resort under the theme “Together We Are Magia,” and there is genuinely a lot to look forward to whether you are visiting this week or later in the season.
Luis Fonsi Joins the Celebration
Puerto Rican superstar Luis Fonsi is part of this year’s festivities, and his involvement sets the tone perfectly for what Disney is going for. Fonsi shared his feelings about being included, saying: “It’s an honor to be part of this celebration and to share all the magia.” If you know his music, you know exactly how fitting that is.
Live Concerts at EPCOT All Month Long
The EPCOT Eat to the Beat Concert Series is loaded with incredible Latin talent throughout the month. Here is the full lineup to know:
Latin Ambition takes the stage September 15 through 17. Grupo Mania performs September 20 and 21. Metro Latino Band plays September 22 through 24. Rey Ruiz headlines October 5 and 6. And Viva Latina closes out the series October 9 through 11.
These concerts are included with park admission, so if you are already planning an EPCOT day, building your schedule around one of these performances is a no-brainer.
Characters You Will Want to Find
The celebration brings out some of Disney’s most beloved Latin and Hispanic characters in a big way. At EPCOT, guests can enjoy ¡Celebración Encanto! featuring Mirabel and Bruno. Over at Magic Kingdom, the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade includes Mirabel, Miguel from Coco, Princess Elena, José Carioca, and Panchito rolling through together. It is a rare chance to see that many culturally significant characters in one place.
New Coco Merchandise
A brand new Coco collection has arrived just in time for the celebration. The lineup includes a Miguel mug, a floral tee, and an alebrije headband. If you or someone in your family is a Coco fan, these are going to go fast.
Movies Under the Stars
Disney is also featuring Hispanic and Latin American inspired content as part of the Movies Under the Stars programming at the resort hotels, giving families a relaxed way to keep the celebration going even after the parks close.
The “Together We Are Magia” theme runs through September 15 to October 15, 2026, so there is plenty of time to plan a trip around it. Whether it is the concerts, the characters, or the new merchandise, this is one of those celebrations that makes a Disney World visit feel extra special.
