If you are a fan of chicken tenders and a fan of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we have some exciting news for you! Disney Eats took to social media to tease a brand new menu addition coming to one of Animal Kingdom’s most beloved quick service spots, and it sounds delicious.
Baked Chicken Tenders are heading to Pizzafari on September 6, 2026!
Disney Eats shared the news with a playful caption that read, “One thing about us is we’re always ordering the chicken tenders,” along with a photo of the new item. It is a fun nod to the fact that chicken tenders are basically a Disney dining staple, and now Pizzafari guests will have a fresh new option to enjoy.
What We Know So Far
The new Baked Chicken Tenders will be served with potato chips and a side of cheese. While full pricing details have not yet been officially announced, the item is confirmed to be arriving at Pizzafari starting September 6.
This is a bit of a departure for Pizzafari, which is best known for its pizzas and more traditional quick service offerings. Adding a baked chicken tender option gives families even more flexibility when it comes to feeding everyone at the table, especially little ones who tend to gravitate toward that classic comfort food.

Pizzafari is a quick service restaurant located on Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Worth a Try?
We think so! Baked rather than fried is always a nice option, and pairing them with chips and cheese keeps things simple and satisfying. If the tenders prove popular at Pizzafari, it would not be surprising to see them make their way to other Disney World locations down the road.
