The Oogie Boogie Bash kicks off next week, as guests get ready for the spooky season at the Disneyland Resort. A brand new villain is all set to make her debut at this year‘s festivities, it’s Yzma! The scene-stealing villain from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Emperor’s New Groove” is the latest character to make a delightfully devious appearance at the party at Disney California Adventure Park.
With her clever potion-making capabilities, Yzma joins a cast of iconic villains, including Ernesto de la Cruz from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” and Hades from Disney Animation’s “Hercules,” at the after-hours event, where guests can come face-to-face with some of Disney’s most notorious characters.
On select nights Aug. 18–Oct. 31, 2026, the fan-favorite party returns with not-so-scary fun for all ages, including the debut of “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party,” a new offering featuring ghoulishly good times inspired by the beloved Haunted Mansion attraction and hosted by Madame Leota herself. Tickets for select nights are still available for the separately ticketed event, while supplies last.
