The Halloween spirit has landed at Disney Springs, and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is once again the place to be for spooky sips and eerie eats. Through November 9, the beloved bar is decked out in vintage 1940s Halloween decor while serving up a brand new lineup of frightfully delicious menu items you won’t want to miss.
On the food side, guests can dig into new additions like the Candelabra Eggs (deviled eggs topped with crispy fried chicken and aji amarillo custard)., the veggie-friendly Dark Forest Dip loaded with roasted mushrooms and toasted pumpkin seeds, and the Bone Kebabs featuring pork, beef, and prosciutto in a creamy tomato sauce. Don’t skip the Midnight Mayhem Popcorn Chicken either, it brings together candied bacon, spiced walnuts, and a hot honey drizzle for a seriously addictive bite. The drink menu is just as stacked, with new sips like the Skull and Sour, the Temple of Doom Margarita, and the ube-infused Midnight Relic joining returning favorites like the Fright of the Espresso flight.
Beyond the menu, the decor itself tells a story. Guests entering the bar will spot a scarecrow pilot channeling Jock Lindsey’s own adventurous spirit, plus a jack-o’-lantern patch hanging over the diving bell seating area and a squad of vintage Beistle style black cats keeping watch from the corner. Sharp eyed fans will also notice a nod to the 1991 film The Rocketeer in the form of a faded “Bigelow’s Air Circus” banner hanging near the bar, tying back to the character’s deep roots in Disney lore. And yes, Reggie the boa constrictor’s cage is empty again, so keep an eye out.
For those who don’t know the legend, Jock Lindsey is Indiana Jones’ barnstorming pilot who supposedly touched down in Central Florida back in 1938 and never left. His hangar turned bar is packed with artifacts tying into both the Indiana Jones universe and the larger Society of Explorers and Adventurers, making it one of the most lore rich spots in all of Disney Springs.
